Rollings/Marrington Audition Prep

For Students in 5th Grade interested in auditioning for the Theatre Arts programs at Rollings Middle School of the Arts and Marrington Middle School of the Arts.

Workshop Dates:

Saturday, December 13th, 10:00am – 12:00pm & 2pm – 4pm

Workshop Duration:

2 hours for each session. Students may sign up for one or both workshops.

This workshop is specifically geared for rising 5th graders who wish to ace their audition for the Theatre Arts programs at Rollings Middle School of the Arts or Marrington Middle School of the Arts.

This workshop will focus on:

• Monologue work

• Character development

• Taking risks and making bold choices

• Playing the action, not the emotion

• Enunciation and projection

• Movement
