An undisputed classic of English drama, William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is one of the Bard’s most timeless works. In Verona, Italy, tensions between the Montagues and Capulets have reached a boiling point. With their families embroiled in an ugly, public feud, the young lovers Romeo and Juliet pursue a secret romance, one that will have deadly, tragic consequences. This performance takes a modern approach to the timeless classic while staying true to Shakespeare’s brilliant dialogue.
