Frequently Asked Questions 

TICKETING

Box office:  Wednesday - Saturday  12:00 PM to 6:00 PM by phone or in person.

                          Sunday 2:00 PM on performance days

One hour prior to event on event dates.

Lost tickets. If you've lost your tickets receipt, contact the box office for assistance. If you were unable to print "print at home tickets," the box office can recover these tickets.

Special Group Rates are available.  Send an inquiry to info@flowertownplayers.org 

CONCESSIONS

For most events water and sodas are made available on a donation basis.  Guests are not permitted to bring in food, alcoholic beverages, or other beverages from outside.  

NO FOOD OR DRINKS ARE ALLOWED INTO THE THEATRE. ALL BEVERAGES MOST BE CONSUMED IN THE LOBBY OR HALL BEFORE ENTERING THE THEATRE. 

DRESS CODE

There is no official dress code at The Flowertown Players. We do require shirts, pants, and shoes at all times. We encourage a casual atmosphere that is welcoming to all patrons. 

PARKING

Beautiful downtown Summerville has an abundance of free parking. You can park across the street near Harrelson Square or behind our building in the open air lot. There is also a parking garage on Short Central that is free to the public. 

AUDITIONS

When auditioning for shows at The Flowertown Players please make sure to review our AUDITION PAGE for all the required audition information. After your audition, you will receive either a call or email on whether you were cast or not. We encourage everyone to audition whether they have experience or not. If you have a question about auditioning please email info@flowertownplayers.org

CAMERAS & PHOTOGRAPHY

Due to copyright law, the recording of performances is strictly prohibited. To respect our guests and performers photography is not allowed during performances. Feel free to take photos of the set, with the actors, and/or friends before or after the show. 

DISABLED SERVICES

Meeting the needs of our guests with disabilities at The Flowertown Players is a priority. We want to make your visit with us an enjoyable and unforgettable experience. If you require handicap seating which is located on our front row with no stairs please contact our box office at 843-875-9251 to reserve those seats. These seats are not made available online due to limited availability. To access these seats please enter through our handicap door at the rear of the building. 

ASL INTERPRETATION

An ASL interpreter will be available for select evenings for all main stage shows. More information will be available on the individual show page. 

FIRST AID

The safety and well-being of our guests is very important to us—if you begin to feel ill or find that you require medical assistance, please see an usher immediately. The Flowertown Players is equipped with standard first aid kits throughout the facility. If an emergency arises that requires more aid, please see an usher or staff member for assistance. 

LOST & FOUND

Whether you misplaced something before, during or after an event, we’re here to help. Please contact our box office during box office hours at 843-875-9251 or speak with an usher or staff member for further assistance the day of the event. Items will be discarded after 30 days.
