Grades 3-5

Classes begin on February 27th and culminate with a showcase on May 31st at 7:00 p.m.

The class will be from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Tuesdays, February 27, 2024 to May 28, 2024.

About The Education Program:
This class will introduce young performers to the fundamentals of acting through theatre games, improvisation, dramatic play, artistic expression, movement, and character creation. Students will gain a knowledge of theatre terminology and grow confidence as they get comfortable expressing themselves using their voices and bodies. Students will experience growth in performance skills, teamwork, and creativity and will apply the skills they’ve learned in a final performance showcase.

The Flowertown Players Education Committee believes that theatre education should be accessible to all children and is happy to offer partial or full financial assistance to qualifying families through our scholarship program. Please email ed@flowertownplayers.org to begin the application process. Applications will be reviewed and eligible scholarships granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Spots are limited and are not guaranteed.
