Acting III
Grades 9-12

Classes begin on March 1st and culminate with a showcase on May 31st at 7:00 p.m.

The class will be from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM on Fridays, March 1, 2024 to May 31, 2024.

About The Education Program: 
This class will introduce performers to the fundamentals of acting through theatre games, improvisation, artistic expression, movement, and character development. Students will focus on scene studies, emotional preparation,

working “in the moment,” taking risks, and delivering truthful moments. Students will apply the skills they’ve learned in their final class day combined performance showcase.

The Flowertown Players Education Committee believes that theatre education should be accessible to all children and is happy to offer partial or full financial assistance to qualifying families through our scholarship program. Please email ed@flowertownplayers.org to begin the application process. Applications will be reviewed and eligible scholarships granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Spots are limited and are not guaranteed.
