Acting II
Grades 6-8

Classes begin on February 27th and culminate with a showcase on May 31st at 7:00 p.m.

The class will be from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM on Tuesdays, February 27, 2024, to May 28, 2024.

About The Education Program:

This class will introduce performers to the fundamentals of acting through theatre games, improvisation, artistic expression, movement, and character development. Students will learn basic acting techniques through monologues and scene work and will focus on their craft as a process. Students will apply the skills they’ve learned in a final performance showcase.

The Flowertown Players Education Committee believes that theatre education should be accessible to all children and is happy to offer partial or full financial assistance to qualifying families through our scholarship program. Please email ed@flowertownplayers.org to begin the application process. Applications will be reviewed and eligible scholarships granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Spots are limited and are not guaranteed.
