Rollings Audition Prep

Workshop Dates:
Saturday, December 2nd and 9th, 10:00am – 12:00pm

 

Workshop Duration:
2 hours for each session. Students may sign up for one or both workshops.

 

About The Education Program:
This workshop is specifically geared for rising 5th graders who wish to ace their

audition for the Theatre Arts program at Rollings Middle School of the Arts. This

workshop will focus on:

• Monologue work

• Character development

• Taking risks and making bold choices

• Playing the action, not the emotion

• Enunciation and projection

• Movement

The Flowertown Players Education Committee believes that theatre education should be accessible to all children and is happy to offer partial or full financial assistance to qualifying families through our scholarship program. Please email ed@flowertownplayers.org to begin the application process. Applications will be reviewed and eligible scholarships granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Spots are limited and are not guaranteed.
