The Flowertown Players operates primarily with volunteers. We do have a skeleton staff to keep the day to day operations going and periodically we are in need of people to fill these positions.

About the Position:
The assistant workshop coordinator is a summer position during the FTP's "Acting Out!" Summer Workshop. The summer workshop is held on weekdays from 9am to 4pm. There are full day and half day sessions that students can attend during that time. The summer camp will be held from June 11th to June 30th 2012. Applicants for this position would be assisting the Workshop Leaders in leading a group of around 30 school children in varying activities.

Qualifications for position:
Age 18+
A background in theatre. Such as acting based classes, work in theatre (Submit a theatre resume!)
Applicant must be willing to assist Workshop Leaders with day to day functions, including:
-Physical warm ups
-Keeping groups of children grades 2-5, on task
-Lead creative activities (acting exercises, arts and crafts activities)
-Assisting Workshop Leaders with final production preparation. Such as gathering props, costumes, make up, etc.
Pay is $750.00 for the term
